Meet Our Optometrist
Dr. Nathan Dieckow, a compassionate and experienced optometrist, is at the heart of our practice. From comprehensive eye exams to advanced treatments for eye conditions, Dr. Dieckow combines cutting-edge technology with a warm, friendly approach to ensure every patient receives the care they deserve.
Dr. Nathan Dieckow is a compassionate optometrist committed to providing exceptional eye care for patients of all ages. With a strong focus on patient education, advanced treatments, and personalized care, Dr. Dieckow takes the time to truly understand each patient’s needs.
Dr. Dieckow earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from UMSL College of Optometry in 2009 and has been practicing full-scope optometry for over a decade. Before establishing Precision Family Eyecare, he gained extensive experience working in corporate and private practice settings, refining his expertise in primary eye care, contact lens fittings, and the management of ocular diseases.
In July 2015, Dr. Dieckow purchased the long-standing practice from Dr. Daniel Sherwood, continuing its legacy of quality eye care for the Galesburg community. Under his leadership, Precision Family Eyecare has expanded its specialty services, offering myopia management, dry eye treatments, and advanced contact lens fittings.
A member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association, Dr. Dieckow stays at the forefront of optometric advancements.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Dieckow enjoys spending time with his family and staying active in the local community.
